You can always increase your CO2 content until most of the fish are gasping at the surface.  I have done this in desperation when trying to catch certain vicious loaches in a planted tank (I have also done it in error, like many of us).  Surprisingly I
had no fish losses, probably because of massive aeration after removing the culprits.  Good luck!
