Kelly, it works pretty good with plain 1/4" sliced pieces. I would
put several in there, because as you stated the Pl*cos will love it
and take over one or two. But, you'll be amazed how quickly they
(snails) will start to attack it. I sometimes get the slices covered
in a manner of hours. I'd put them in for at least a day. I also
tried zuccini, which is a bad idea. They love it just the same, but
the zuccini flesh will turn to *mush* in a day or so, and it is
impossible to remove it all. Hope that helps.
