I teach chemistry in HS and I have noticed that people use KNO3 (potassium nitrate) in their tanks. My question is that in the schools we receive everything in concentrated forms only for us to dilute for necessary experiments so how strong is the KNO3 that you are using? How much KNO3 is typically used and how often? Sean
