Ghost Shrimp vs Clown Loach

Todays battle is a Clown Loach and his partner the Blue Botia vs the 
small, harmless looking, but tough for his size Ghost Shrimp.  I'd like 
to use the Ghost shrimp for algae control, but I'm not sure if my 
addiction to botia will put a damper on that idea.  

Is there anyone out there who's done this.  Would this work, or would I 
be just as well off to provide the loaches with a little seafood sauce 
with their shrimp cocktail?
