Emerse Sword

Adam,
The easiest way that i know of to grow Swords emersed is to wait for your
plant to flower, preferably with the flower stalk above water. When the
plantlets are about 1-2 inches tall, cut them off the stalk and plant them
into waterlogged soil like in a coffee can without holes. In the Summer, i
place them outdoors and they grow fairly quickly. Remove any flower stalks
from the plantlets (yes, they flower when small esp in the Summer). In
winter you can place them on a warm sunny window sill, and they should grow
quite well. Maintain about half an inch of water above the soil all the
time. Even when there's no visible water above the soil, they willl be OK
as long as the soil is moist. Good luck.
