Mexican Oakleaf (NOT!)

Hello All:

Well, what I thought was Mexican Oakleaf finally flowered. Its
definately not Asteraceae, but I still can't identify it. The flower
is a very pale mauve-pink with five petals. The flower is bilaterally
symetrical with one petal to the top, and two on the bottom. The
style is to the bottom, and it appears to have four anthers. The
pollen is cream coloured, but the immature anthers were dark blue.

Any ideas?

Jacques
