Ghost shrimp seem to be excellent jumpers especially when some fish is chasing them and I suspect loaches might be doing that. If you hear em land, you can put em back in. If not, you may not find them for a while. If the loaches manage to pin one down, they probably crunch it up and eat it. They eat pretty tough snails after all... Steve
