Eheim diffusors (plastic body with glass diffusor) are about $25-30, Amano
about $55-70 depending on shipping and how you get them. There is also a
glass Dupla diffusor I believe, which is intermediate in price.
All have glass diffusion plates, which can be cleaned in bleach (if rinsed
carefully). All are beautifully made (if not beautiful), the Eheim is
especially nice for the price.
I locate mine as low in the tank as I can get it, and at a back corner so
as to make it nearly invisible. I can check the operation through an end
glass of the tank.
I am planning to open a mail-order store for CO2 supplies in the near
future once my supply of regulators is assured. Stay tuned.
