Don't be concerned -- if your pH is holding steady. If your fish need
harder water, some marble chips in the filter will *slowly* add hardness
to your water.

The best solution, however, is to lay a pipe between your fishroom and
mine and exchange water -- your 55 ppm "pure gold" for mine 420 ppm pure
rock! :-))
