velvet black algae
I have a fifty gallon aquarium with a number of african cichlids. The
rocks and drift is covered with velvet black algae.
african cichlids are: electric yellows, blue alhias, sunshine peacocks.
all doing well.
It like further info. on this type of algae and is this a possitive
thing. I have a number of live plants in the tank. Anubias Nana,
Cryptocorne, Anubias Lancelota, Java Fern,
Anubias Bartebi bartebi.
Lights are on 10 - 12 hours a day with indirect sunlight. tank is at 80
degrees with no heater.
