I am having trouble growing Rotala macranda lately; a
generally EASY plant, I know!

It grows rather slowly (unlike R. indica in the same
tank) and its leaves are not the nice, wide, red/green -
instead, they are narrow, pointed and deep deep red.

Tank parameters:
pH 6.8
R/O water, recons. w/R/O Right, MgSO4, KNO3, etc.
substrate = gravel w/Dupla laterite, plus occasional
Jobes sticks.
Weekly 30% water changes w/ use of Tropica MG

Any ideas on how to enhance growth?
