PLEASE!! Take the zebra mussel threat seriously. It is causing major
ecological changes throughout the waters of the Northeast. It would be simple
enough to prevent infection to your ponds, and if it is introduced, visiting
birds may spread it to nearby bodies of water. The filter may keep down the
infestation, but I hope you would be responsible enough not to risk it.
