Once planted, the plant grew at a fast rate. But after 4 weeks or so, I
noticed that the leaves developed some form of rot with holes at the
base. And the growth will then be slow. New shoots appeared smaller.

during the initial stage up to the time when the problem occured, I
monitored all variables to be more or less consistent:
pH		6.8
temp		27C
hardness	3.5
Fe		0.2ppm
photoperiod	10 hours

All seems to be as recommended by  Tropica at

Please advise.
