I just moved from Sacramento where the water was hard as a rock, and had a ph
well over 8. Just arrived here in Gaithersburg MD and was shocked to find the
water is very soft, way acidic and the Kh is practically zero (it's well
water). What a change. I used to use tons of Co2 to lower the ph, now I'll be
using baking soda, I guess.

Anyone in the area like to correspond and share local insights like good LFSs,
CO2 sources, etc?
