When I buy a thermometer, I look at at least 5 or 6 to make sure that
they are all reading the same temperature, before I pick one. Also I
have a $2 thermometer that is messed up, some days it reads fine other
days it is off by as much as 10 degrees, (I keep it in the tank for
amusment purposes, I am an engineer, it that helps explain that).
