I have been using the Ebo Jager diffuser in my 10-gallon tank, with
DIY CO2. It occasionally gets that white scum forming on it, but for
the most part, I'm pretty happy with it. I try to keep it adjusted so
that the bubble stream is as fine as with a fine-bubble airstone, but
this depends more upon how vigorous (fresh) the yeast solution is.
