Well, perhaps I can take the spraybars off of the biowheel, and let the
spraybar-intended water run back into the filter... That way, Co2 loss
would be minimized. I had considered this before. The powerhead will be
about 6" into tank, as it is submersible. I am trying a home-brew reactor
right now. I've got an inverted mason jar that the Co2 is bubbled into.
After 5 hours of doing this, the jar is yet to "spill" any Co2, I'm
assuming that it's dissolving... For now, I'm staying with the GE bulbs.
After 6 months, I'll replace them with something else maybe? Depending on
results... I'll watch the clown loaches for anything suspicious... As well,
are the numbers of plants that I'm ordering adequate? Too much? Way too
much? Too little? Way too little? Thanks!
