RE Echinodorus/ Ancistrus wars!



The Ancistrus eating the Echinodorus could be, I had both in a tank and
I kept wondering about the little holes in the Echinodorus cordifolius,
and it stayed quiet small. ONly after a few years, when I removed the
Ancistrus ( by accident, not planned anyway) The Echinodorus cordifolius
started growing like mad, and after a few weeks! it reached a size never
seen before (the size it should be). So, i never put Ancistrus in the
tank again. 
Ofcourse, I'm not sure if it was the Ancistrus, but no holes and a
normal growth, SO .....
