My local pet shop has laterite balls for sale. My question is, they are about 1inch in diameter and cost about $9.00 for six. Do you use them whole or do you crush them up? How many of these balls would be needed for a 70 gal tank. Has anyone found the answer to the hydrophonic red ball question posted earlier? Bill Ruff
