Washing Sand

Its fairly easy to wash sand.  Put about 3 inches at the bottom of a
round bucket.  Add lots of water.  Use your hand and get sand and water
spinning.  Wait a few seconds and drain the water.  The heavy sand will
settle quickly, the dust and fine sand goes out with the water.  Doing
this three times per batch produces clean sand.
