Re: Aquatic Plants Digest V2 #680

Dear folks,
Let me begin by saying how delighted I am to have found you folks. I've been
a fish person for almot fifty years. I've learned alot, and am learning more
every day. Thanks to all of you.
What I would like to discuss today, I hope will not be taken wrongly, I
certainly wish no harm to anyone. I'm reading a lot about CO2, this is
interesting. If I may make a suggestion thought. Many folks are using yeast
and sugar for the generator. Being that wine making is another of my past
times, may I suggest a five galon carboy in glass, some fruit juces, a
burgandy yeast, a little tea, five pounds of sugar, a bubbly air lock, some
tubing, and we are in business, and when the bubbles slow down, we can have a
party!

Another side benifit of this setup is, the fermenting process will attract
fruit flies, which wil be eagerly greeted by the tank dwellers.

Thanks again for all the great information I've been recieving. Keep up the
good work.
And I hope I haven't offended anyone.
Sincerly Yours,
 Al Swager
