USA Laterite

Hey, folks, this North American Continent has NOT always had a Temperate
Climate. What do you think was the source of Coal? Plants. Some Coal Beds
have WOODY plant remains. Deep, dank Jungle woody plants. 

Anyway, there is a great deal of Late rite around, just not all on the
surface. Utah, not all of it is any use to us. Wrong kind and all that. Check
with your local University Geology, Forestry, and Agronomy folks, there may
well be some late rite near you that will be the right kind. Not all that
often, but certainly worth asking. :-/
