Steve:

If your SAE's are eating on some of your plants (which they will) if
hungry, keep a piece of cucumber weighted down in your aquarium.  They
will eat on the cucumber and also keep your plants free of algae.  Many
fish like cucumber, so you will be giving them a continual treat!
