Can anyone there tell me how to differentiate laterrite earth from other earth? In the tropics, laterrite is supposed to be abundant. Most of the earth around is orangy-red in colour. How do you tell which laterrite is which? Also, what sort of fertisers can I use to mix with the laterrite earth. Aquarium type fertilizer is expensive! Rodney
