Hello, Happy New Year everybody!! I just wanted to ask what (if any) negative effects might come to my aquarium if I use Hydrocloric Acid to lower the Ph of my water change water. I change about 10% of my 130g tank once a week and lower the Ph in the tank using CO2. The Ph of my tap water is about 8.0-8.2 . I tried just putting the water in with out adjustment but the Ph fluctuates too much for my liking. any comments welcome, Paul.Lesniak
