Does anyone have any suggestions for plants that will survive in a pH of 8 or higher? I know an African chichlid breeder who would like to keep plants in his tanks to help water quality. He is not interested in a lush planted tank -- just something that will survive to help soak up ammonia and nitrate. Is there any such plant? Olga hopeful in Vancouver
