I promised to find some more info on Lamotte test kits.  I tried

and hit the MotherLode.  Full on-line catalog.  An "Outta Site"!

Doing a "Product Search by Test Factor [pH]", I came across the
following useful kits (among the 17 pH test kits listed):

Narrow Range pH test kits:

     #2109/P-BTB    6.0 to 7.4 in 0.2 steps  (Bromthymol blue)
     #2110/P-PR     6.8 to 8.2 in 0.2 steps  (Phenol red) 
     
Wide Range pH test kits: 

     #2119/P-5085   5.0 to 8.5 in 0.5 steps
