EPA Nitrate Std

The EPA (and most States) standards for nitrate-nitrogen is 10 ppm.  To
convert this to nitrate levels multiply nitrate-nitrogen levels by 4.4.
Standards for nitrates are therefore 40.4 ppm.  This is a common point of
confusion.
