Thanks very much for responses to my mystery plant inquiry.  I hope it 
wasn't misconstrued as a complaint against Mr Gasperson.  He was kind 
enough to E-mail me personally after he saw the posting (small world!) as 
well as post the answer for everyone. His plants were all very 
satisfactory. I will say that the emergent growth Lobellia cardinalis 
looks nothing at all like some I already had grown submerged.  It will be 
interesting to see the transformation take place.
