Dear All,

A while back there was some discussion on heating mats. I have now managed
to get an address for the manufacturer of Ultratherm heating mats. I use
one, and it is reliable and seems to do the job well. As with all heating
mats, it generates thermals in the gravel. It is not a coil or any other
such device, but rather a large foil sheet sandwiched between plastic.
Costs about the same as a regular heater, but does also need a thermostat.
