Sandpoint's new Cable Convective System

Is anyone familiar with Sandpoint's new Cable Convective substrate heating
equipment? (Guestimate of $175 street price); note: this is different from
their Cable Heating System!

It is suppose to be brand new, and requires you to use your own regular
heater--supposedly what this convective system does is to provide a
temperature different of 3F so as to promote the convective movements of
currents...?
