Hello everybody

I have a fairly simple question about reproduction in Anubius. My 
(unamed) anubius has just flowered under water and I have two questions 
about this.

1. Are Anubius self fertile? I assume that this may be complicated by the 
fact that there are many hybrids sold in the aquarium trade.

2. Are the flowers normally borne under water? I think that the specimen 
that I have may have been cultivated emmersed and then immersed at the 
store.
