Hello. I have been following a thread and I am wondering if you know whether there are 'iron dependent' algae? That is they require iron to flourish? Also.. you may find this hard to understand.. but has algae ever been known to live in a host organism? Such as a cow/horse etc who may have drank some water with the algae present? Thanks. Any insight appreciated. Tom
