Beard Algea--I Need Help

Can anyone please help me with my algea problem.
 I think its called Brush algea or beard algea, 
you know that hair like stuff that grows on plant leafs 
mostly but also grows on other things in the aquarium? I 
have a 30 gal tank, use CO2 injection, Water temp 77, 60
watts of Full Spectrum bulbs -10 hrs daily, do a 7-8 gal
water change every 10-12 days.  I asked alot of people in
pet stores, have gotten a lot of answers, and none of them 
have helped.  Its is destroying my plants.  Please help!
