I have recently been investigating reef tanks and I came across some info on the use of Jaubert plennums. Has anyone tried this in a plant tank? Would the effect be the same? I keep several large chichlids in my 75G plant tank and the nitrates are always a little higher than I would like. I do weekly 25% water changes but lately the nitrates have crept up to aroung 15-20 ppm wich has led to a small algae problem.
