Ran across an interesting "gift" in a store in SF this weekend. Glass ball, completely sealed, filled with water, hornwort, snails and shrimp. Didn't see any shrimp, though the label said there were some in it. Closed eco system. Supposedly stays alive for 2 or more years. At $89, I passed. Thomas
