Howdy - Just wanted to mention that although I haven't often (ever?) seen Lobelia cardinalis in an aquarium store, it is sometimes sold in better nurseries as an emersed bog plant (I believe this is the same plant). I have one in my half-barrel "bog" right now... maybe I'll try a cutting in the tank soon. The blooms (emersed) are a brilliant - nearly luminous - red. Anne Hull Seales Santa Cruz, CA
