Tom,
Do you have any idea as to how much you overdosed the fertilizer? I'd
suggest you buy an iron test kit (the Red Sea one works well for me & is
not too expensive). I'm pretty sure that Fe concentrations > 0.3 ppm can
be harmful to your fish, so this is probably whats stressing out your
angelfish.
In the meantime, do larger water changes, 10% ones won't be doing a lot
if you overdosed iron 2-3 times what it should be. I'd suggest at least
some 30% water changes, possibly 50%.
