If I were you, I would stay away from Ophiopogon. My experience is
that it will not do well in aquaria.
Have you considered buying some plants through the mail? Also, if you
post a request for some specific species on the mailing list, you may
get some good quality plants at reasonable prices. The weather is
warming up, so shipping should not be a problem.
