Raj,

It was heartening to hear from another kribensis fan. They're probably  
my favorite freshwater fish - due to their interesting breeding/ 
parenting behavior. I've been raising kribs for @ 10 years, but I also  
have never witnessed an "adoptive" male such as you described. It's  
interesting that where I live (Phila., PA) kribs are extremely  
difficult to find at the LFS's in the area. Not much demand for them,  
which I find strange, but then I'm definitely biased...
