Re: [APD] plant trade, sale or give-aways/Native Plants

I have been on the list for a few years but don't post very often. And I
think I am one of the chemistry posters, but hey, that's what I do here at
work. I think most people have moved on to the other forums out there. I am
a member of a local plant club, New Jersey Aquatic Gardeners Club. We have a
forum for the members only. I read that as I have time.

In the interest of promoting discussion, how many readers look at local
ponds? How many keep native plants?

I took a walk yesterday to the local pond and saw Bacopa growing in the
shallows, some were growing emersed but I didn't see any flowers. We are
going to get a frost soon. It will be interesting to see what it does with
the frost. I am going to go back and dig some up and keep it in the window
here at work. I have a container of Utricularia gibba I was hoping to see
flower, but didn't. I think I'll plant the Bacopa in that container.

Wolffia was present along with Lemna, Duckweed. I'm going to take some of
the Wolffia too. Lots of Cladophora on the bottom.
