Just like any pennies made in 1983 or after - they bend easily compared 
with pre-1983 pennies. You can also scratch off a tiny section of the 
copper plating on the side, throw the penny into some hydrochloric acid, 
and enjoy the results. The acid eats the zinc out of the copper plating 
shell and leaves you with what amounts to a copper foil embossed penny.
