I never have had good luck w/ a dry feeder fertilizer.  I was using a
round one w/ the segmented ring (14 holes).  The fertilizer would
always clump up a day or two into things and would quit spinning.  Not
sure if it was chemical reactions w/ the ferts or humidity.  I tried a
air pump once to keep things dry - same result, so probably chemical
reacting and clumping.

Just 0.02$.
