[APD] anubias barteri problems

Hello,

I have two anubias barteri plants tied to driftwood in a 10 gallon aquarium
with 2 10 Watt CF bulbs and CO2. I've noticed that over time black spots
and a brownish color that develops on some of the older leaves. The tend to
start the edges and move their way in to the center of leaf. I don't really
know if these things are algae or if it's a nutrient problem. Does anyone
else have any experience with this issue?

Also, I tend to put the barteri in the middle of the tank so they do get a
lot of light. Do you think that is my problem? I've read articles that says
you should put them in subdued lighting. But I also read that they would
grow faster if given more light.

Thanks.
