I use Soilmaster Select Pro Charcoal as a substrate, and it is a bit  
light.  So, I have problems with plants floating up pretty often.  My  
approach is to first just try replanting them a bit deeper, and if  
that fails, as it often does, I use a small lead strip to weight down  
the plant.
