If your aim is to increase O2 content, you'd be better off with a powerhead than using a bubbler, The key is to increase the exposure of water surface to air and the flow from a powerhead can do that much more effectively than a stream of bubbles.

The Aquatic Gardeners Association Convention is OPEN for REGISTRATION!
 
Only convention registrants can sign up for the the Field Trip to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. About 20 slots remain and then the the Field Trip will be fully subscribed and we cannot add any more.
