Re: [APD] Aquatic-Plants Digest, Vol 34, Issue 16

it depends on what you mean by soft water---------almost any water can
be conditioned with proper elements to grow any plant--------the things
the softner adds to the water is the problem---------fish and other
creatures have more difficulty than plants------rain water is
soft----and rain water is the best water for plants======in time any
water will become a good environment for the most tender plant=====let
it age-------and in time a good condition will evolve----the time you
spend in worry will allow-----most water to naturally buffer
itself=====especially if living plants are introduced with some water
fauna as well------light is more of a worry that water
quality-------unless you have a chemical soup
