There must be a bypass on the house water system somewhere; it's usually a building code requirement. So you shouldn't *have* to use the "salted" water.

The Aquatic Gardeners Association Convention is OPEN for REGISTRATION!
 
Only convention registrants can sign up for the the Field Trip to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. About 20 slots remain and then the the Field Trip will be fully subscribed and we cannot add any more.

Has anyone out there had SUCCESS growing plants in water from a water
softener? 

All postings I have read, tell of struggle and before I fill a 100
gallon tank with plants and softened water, I would like to hear that it is possible! 

Anyone?
