Well when I bought the 48 inch version of these (they had 2 daylight and 2
actinic)  - I bought replacement lamps as you said - and sold the actinics
to a reefer buddy for about the price I paid for the new daylight
lamps.....so it was a wash.   I found the best price for replacement lamps
at Hello lights.  So yes you have to figure that into the deal.
