Re: [APD] Inline Carbon?

Rory

McMaster-Carr sells a Polypro compact bag filter housing for about $200.00.
Part number 98015k11. You need to buy the bags: 50 micron 98015k25 $5.00 or
so. 200 micron 98015k27. Granular activated carbon 12 x 40 mesh 3190k522,
five lbs. $45.00. Don't know what your budget is. Standard fittings to make
a bypass when you don't want the carbon inline or are changing it.

You could also try to find an old broken canister filter that doesn't leak.
You could use it as a housing only for the carbon.

I thought of using pipe flanges on the bottom of a 4" pipe but it would be
too messy to change out the carbon.

McMaster-Carr: www.mcmaster.com They accept charge cards and no minimum
order.

No connection with them at all. Just a satisfied customer.
